Primary Hall is a public charter school, which means all students are welcome to apply—regardless of zip code, academic background, or family income. While all students have equal access to enrollment, an application does not guarantee admission, and families are not obligated to attend if selected.
Each year, we conduct a randomized public lottery in April to determine enrollment for the upcoming school year.

New York State (NYS) Public Health Law Section 2164 and New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (NYCRR) Title 10, Subpart 66-1 require every student entering or attending public, private or parochial school in New York State (NYS) to be immune to diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, poliomyelitis, hepatitis B, varicella and meningococcal in accordance with Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations.
Updated medical and immunization records must be received by 15 days after initial enrollment. Students without proper immunizations may be excluded from school starting the 16th day in accordance with NYS Public Health Law 2164.
